It is possible! A new cargo conversion kit from Indraéro Siren in conjunction with ATR makes it possible to pull out the seating and forward partition and replace them with container tracks in a very short time - in 45 minutes! You then utilize the forward door to get the containers in and out with a dedicated moveable loading ramp or an existing loader. The change back to a passenger cabin is just as quick, so it is possible to use the aircraft for passenger service during the day and cargo service overnight.
