Back in 1902 Heinrich Diehl started a small foundry in Germany to
cast art pieces, but from humble beginnings great things have come.
With about 11,000 employees today, Diehl Stiftung & Co. is a force in
Europe's metals industry, and they have branched out to electrical
controls (mainly for appliances) and a division covering defense
products and avionics. We started working with a division of Diehl in
1987 that later became DLE - Diehl Luftfahrt Elektronik. Now DLE is
merged with Diehl Avionics into Diehl Aerospace GmbH, a joint
venture with Thales.

The Cabin Interior division of Diehl Aerospace is the world's leading
supplier of aircraft cabin lighting and they also supply a number of
other aircraft products such as emergency power supplies, heating
panels, and other controls.

The fact that their products were selected as original equipment on Airbus, Boeing, Fokker, Embraer, Fairchild Dornier, Jetstream and Bombardier aircraft is truly a testament to their quality and engineering excellence.
