This company started as a German-American joint venture in 1962 to work on power conversion equipment for naval installations. There have been many ownership changes since then – MagneTek owned them for a while, and they are now part of L-3 Communications – but their focus on military applications has remained a constant. The one important exception is commercial aviation, and that’s where EAI comes in: we look after the static inverters and converters used on Airbus.

Other important products are power supplies, static transfer switches, transformers and power conditioning equipment.
