Two French aviation industry companies, each with more than 50 years of history, became one in the late 90's when Indraéro purchased Siren. Now known as Indraéro Siren, the company is primarily a supplier of metal subassemblies to companies like Airbus, ATR, Dassault, Sabca and Eurocopter as well as to major engine programs (CFM 56) and EADS rocket programs.

More than 500 employees are involved in design, engineering and manufacturing, and the company has both JAR 21 and JAR 145 approvals, ISO 9001 and several customer-specific quality approvals.

A very interesting new product line is their rapid conversion of ATR 42 and 72 aircraft from a passenger to a cargo configuration and back – more about that here.

For about 30 years Indraéro Siren has been a key supplier of Cargo Hooks for the full family of Eurocopter helicopters. Since the fall of 2009, Erie Aviation has been their fully authorized distributor and overhaul station for these cargo hooks.
